What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser. In it, the site stores information that it can read back on a later visit — for example which language you chose, or that you have already answered the cookie question.
Which cookies do we use?
Necessary cookies
Without these the site does not work, so they cannot be switched off. They include the session identifier, protection of forms against abuse (CSRF token), and the record of how you answered the cookie question.
The consent cookie itself is also a necessary cookie: without it we would have to ask you again on every page load. It is called cookie_consent, it lasts one year, and it stores nothing but your choice.
Functional cookies
These remember convenience settings — such as the language you chose (Hungarian / English / German) — so that you do not have to set them again on every visit.
Statistical cookies
These collect anonymous data about how visitors use the site: which pages are the most popular, where visitors come from, and where they leave. Aggregated and without identifying individuals, this data helps us improve the website.
Marketing cookies
These make it possible to display personalised advertising and to measure its effectiveness. They are activated only if you explicitly consent.
When do they start working?
Apart from the necessary cookies, no cookie is activated until you have answered. Measurement and marketing services start in a disabled state by default and switch on only after your consent.
How can you change your decision?
At any time. The Cookie notice link at the bottom of the page brings you back here, and the button below reopens the choice panel. Your previous decision is cleared and you can choose again.
In addition, you can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please note that if the necessary cookies are blocked, some functions of the site (such as submitting forms) will not work.
